Hey there patients, caregivers, and whoever else happens to read this!

Well, the Cherry Thunderfuck is down, trimmed, dried, and finally is curing. It smells a bit like mangos or papaya right now and I'm excited to see what the stabilized smell will be.

We currently have buds of Mental Floss, Blue Mystic, Northern Lights #5, Medusa, Misty, Super Silver Haze X Shishkaberry, and a few others in smaller amounts.

I also just made a very powerful tincture and used some of it to make some of Montana's first infused hard candies. Both products are available now and I will be refining the candy making process to have more flavors and shapes (right now it's just old fashioned hard-crack candy).

I have seen the light, and it is the smartpot. The plants potted in my smartpots are just about the happiest plants I've ever grown. Thick, healthy green foliage, super fast growing, and just plain happy plants. Brings a tear to my eye to see my girls so damn happy!

I've revamped my growing system after a year or so of experimenting with pot sizes, plant sizes, and strains. Things will be going very smoothly (I hope..) from now on. Not to say that things weren't going great, they just could have been much better.

Also, we're considering moving into a more professional setting to grow alongside other patients and caregivers. We've run out of space to expand at our current location so if things start to go well, we will be doing some moving. We also have yet to hear a demand for a "storefront" so we will continue delivering to patients' houses and meeting at our residence.

Oh, and we're attempting to snag a clone of Big Bang, Greenhouse's creation based upon one of the four successful medical strains sold in Netherlands' pharmacies.

Take care and give care,

Zack

Guten Morgen!

Once again, for those that read this, I AM accepting new patients!! I've seen how much more I enjoy doing this than say...pretty much ANYTHING, and I'd like to do it more and be more open to meet patients and just have a more open, patient oriented schedule. I really dislike having to rush a patient when I've got to be somewhere else, so I'm going to try to not have such a full, chaotic schedule.

As far as growing goes: I've finally got the new flowering room finished and full! I'm testing out a new product called "smart pots", each plant is replanted into a 7 gallon smart pot and I'm comparing that directly to a 5 gallon bucket in terms of size, yield, and vigor. All of the 8 Miles High have been transplanted into their larger 6" pots and now we wait for them to get big enough to transplant, clone, and sex. The Bubba Kush X Deep Purple and Jillybean X Pinequeen (bred for sure by Janjaweed) are ready to go into pots as soon as I have room.

A patient and good friend of mine will be growing out several Buddha Haze and we'll have those around in a month or so. A few days ago, the last Chocolate Thai was thrown into flower, right along side a plant that Heidi named Zaze (Zack's Haze), which is Kalishnapple/Pursang Haze X Chocolate Thai B, a seed I wanted to make and accidentally did earlier in the year due to pollen getting on my clothes and being transferred to the flowering plants (eek!).

Trainwreck is officially going into bonsai mode to preserve the strain as it just isn't competition for any other plant I'm growing in terms of vigor, size, yield, and hermaphroditic stability. Granted, the high is ridiculously powerful, but it doesn't seem like it's worth the effort as Jack the Ripper has a similar, but much more clear-headed high, tastier nugs, and is a much more vigorous plant in general. I'm not saying this plant CAN'T do well, I've got it to produce well if there's no competition for light space, but it's really annoying to have a 1.5 foot tall plant right next to a 3 footer when it comes to light distribution.

The Cherry Thunderfuck seems completely legit as it's really starting to show a sativa side as it grows. It's tall, and the buds show a sativa structure and a typical spicy, nutty odor that I associate with Thais and various other equitoral sativas. The sativa structure is nicely compact though and is what I've been looking for in the various sativa oriented plants I've grown: Spikey, tall, and more obelisk like while retaining a nice indica-like firmness to the buds.

I'm also very excited for the two Blueberry crosses I've got, c-99 X Blueberry and Grapefruit X Blueberry (the gentleman that gave me the seedling is more than welcome to come pick up a clone..). Both are looking like great plants, especially the grapefruit cross. The C-99 crosses I've smoked are AMAZING, so I know I've got two great winners and as far as lineage goes, they both should be GREAT for nausea.

I'm considering adding some new strains: Skunk #1 or Superskunk from Sensi Seeds, Critical Mass or Black Widow from Mr. Nice/Shantibaba, Bubble n' Squeak 2 from SOG seeds (the mother being the original Cheese cutting rather than Big Buddha's), Satori from Mandala seeds, and possibly something from BOG like Bogglegum or Lifesaver..

Please email your thoughts, opinions, and suggestions to me at zlessley@yahoo.com, preferably with a subject like "seeds" or "cannabis strains" so I don't delete it by mistake.

Take care, and toke responsibly folks,

Zack

Things are changing here at New Holland:

I've just built a second flowering room and I'm hoping to be able to accommodate several new patients. Thank you to those patients that have been waiting till I have room, I will be in touch in a bit. Please feel free to contact me again if you have before and aren't happy with your current caregiver.

I've also started seeds that have been lying around and have been neglected due to my plant capacity. Now that outdoors is all dug up, there's room for these! I've started seeds of 8 Miles High from Mandala Seeds, Bubba Kush X Deep Purple from Janjaweed (a local breeder), and some Jillybean X Pinequeen also from Janja, but I'm not sure if they were made by Janja.

We've currently got Northern Lights # 5, Medusa, Blue Mystic, Calico, and a bit of Bella Donna that are cured. We've also got Mental Floss that's curing right now and we'll be harvesting Bubble n' Squeak and Bella Donna in a short while.

Next year we're going to be growing tulips on the site of the previous grow... look for us at the farmer's market with flowers and bulbs!

Take care and happy growing!

Alrighty,

A bit of a summary on the outdoors: I planted WAY too early, didn't have a decent SECURE greenhouse, and we had an early couple weeks of winter. My previous hoping of selling for 50 bucks less an ounce due to a surplus didn't work out due to not actually getting said surplus. sad

Next year, I'll be doing something on similar scale but doing it MUCH better.

I've weeded out calico, bella donna, and Chocolate Thai for various reasons, usually either quality of end product or it being a pain to grow. In their place I'm germinating 8 miles high, Bubba Kush X Deep Purple, and Jillybean X Pinequeen.

Also, I'm trading for a chemo clone and apparently something called purple coal... ?

That's about it.. just a little update!

I seem to have (as W would say) "misunderestimated" my plants!

They looked dead when I saw them in the morning after a very cold night but as the day warmed, they came right back!!!

The northern lights is all harvested and I'm working on the Blue Mystic. We're maybe a week away from harvesting the Mental Floss indoors.

I have found some fantastic trimming scissors by a local company called "Dr. Slick". I used the "arrow" scissors with the gold handles but for heavy duty trimming, they just can't hold up. They go dull after several big plants and they tend to seperate, rendering them essentially useless, and you can't tighten the tiny screw at the joint, which leads me to believe they became bent.

Now, those WERE some of the best scissors that I've tried but I discovered that Dr. Slick makes the same scissor (minus micro-serations) out of tungsten carbide... I'm hoping that since tungsten carbide is ridiculously hard and has essentially NO elasticity, that they will remain sharp much longer and won't bend like the other ones. Granted they're twice as much as the "arrow" ones at 25 dollars, they're well worth the investment in my view.

I've got bags and bags of trim that will be rendered into full-melt bubble hash ASAP (I have a tiny freezer...)

Well, I suppose that's about it, it seems like we're still full speed ahead.

Take care,

Zack

Well, looks like last night did the garden in!

I managed to harvest Calico and some Northern Lights #5, the rest will be converted to bubble hash big grin

Not a complete lost, but it would have been nice to finish everything outside. NEXT year we will probably be doing a legit greenhouse, this year was sort of.... primitive. Oh well, as Corbusier said, "there's no such thing as primitive man, only primitive means."

Anywho, should have a bunch of full melt bubble hash that'll knock your socks off! I want to thank a patient and friend of mine for letting me use his bubble bags.

Inside is a different story, everything is looking really good, with the exception of a gigabud (it really has problems if the pH goes wacky), but it will be fine. The Cherry Thunderfuck is nearly TWICE the size of plants put in the same day that were the same size, in the same pot with the same soil.... should be fun big grin

Remember folks, if life gives you frozen plants, make bubble hash!

It seems winter has reared its chilling face a bit early this year!

The greenhouse is finally open to the sun after nearly two days of darkness. Everything's still looking good, though still a bit immature.

Indoors is going bonkers, especially this new Cherry Thunderfuck strain. It was given the exact same treatment and is the same age as every other plant in the room but it's by far the largest plant. Bella Donna is ready to harvest and in a week or so the mental floss will be ready. I'm finally having some luck with the Headband I've got going and it seems to be keeping up with everything else.

I've harvested Calico from outside as she was about ready and she's just now drying. I tried the Northern Lights #5 from a bud that got broken off a week ago and I've got to say, even for an immature bud, it's some of the most potent, sticky herb I've ever had.

Chocolate Thai and Jack the ripper are close to being cured and we should be set if everything goes well!

Take care folks,

Z

Welcome to autumn in Bozeman and welcome back to the college kids!

Nothing major has happened lately, had some heat issues in august but I replaced my air-cooled hood and completely revamped the ducting. I'm currently harvesting some Super Silver Haze X Shishkaberry and have some 3rd party bubble n' squeak around as well as the last of the pure thai (it's finally smooth.. ish.. never growing it again). I'm waiting for some large plants to harvest and around october or so will have a decent amount of Bubble n' Squeak, Northern Lights #5, Blue Mystic, Medusa, Calico, Jack the Ripper, and Bella Donna.

I also was informed by the gifter of the "Viet Thunder" that it's actually Cherry Thunderfuck, which is cherry bomb (one of jack herer's favorites) crossed with the family of the living light's Alaskan Thunderfuck. I'm pretty stoked to have a thunderfuck cross in my grow, especially this one smile

I also recently got clones of Pandora's Box, Chernobyl, and Querkle, as well as three seedlings: Bubblicous, Northern Lights X Haze, Grapefruit X Blueberry.

Anywho, I've gotta run, hope y'all are doin well!

Good day folks,

Well, it's most definitely summer, really hot (80s.. it's hot for me!) and cold at nights. Everything's going well here, trimming the final Travelling Thai and we will not be growing her again as the bud produced a very intense two hour high that was not what we were looking for. We will be germinating some boddhisattva to fill our pure sativa slot as it's a thai crossed with a cross of cambodian and burmese. I did germinate a seed of Alaskan Thunderfuck X Willie Nelson, known as VietThunder. Keeping my fingers crossed for a great female smile

I will also be germinating some Strawberry Cream seeds and some 8 miles high from Mandala seeds, we will most likely be eliminating some other strains. The C-99 X DJ short's Blueberry is going into flower in a bit and I'll finally be flowering Chocolate Thai E. I think we'll be taking out Chocolate Thai A as it exhibits the weight of C but not the sturdiness or potency. I'll give it credit though, I've got some left over from last harvest and it smells very chocolately!

Clones of any of our 20+ strains are available on request, so let me know! I'm not a strain hoarder, though a couple are for trade only as they're rare, heirloom genetics, like the original trainwreck.

Anywho, hope you all are doing swell!

Oh, we are not offering any sort of post-pay/ credit things. I tried that with one patient and I was ripped off for around 300 dollars... yeah. Actually, the guy said that he shouldn't have to pay because he "donated" enough from previous transactions... This is not a bloody COMMUNITY SERVICE, this is a home business and it not based on donations, there's a flat rate and if you don't feel like paying it, I don't feel like working for you.

Sorry for the rant but I'm sick of folks expecting me to work for free. I have a heart and if you're truly down on your luck et cetera, I can help out, but don't think you're entitled to free product/labor, that's socialism/communism and I will have none of it.

Take care,

Z

Good day ganjaphiles!

I planted up two Northern Lights F, two Northern Lights C, one Chocolate Thai C, and two Jack the Ripper clones. More on the way! I planted some of those Willie Nelson X Alaskan Thunderfuck seeds I was given and am still waiting for them to pop up, keeping my fingers crossed! Looks like we'll be harvesting some Mental Floss and Belladonna here in a bit as well as Travelling Thai (for the last time!). I'm in the middle of flowering some Headband and some other random ones, I'll keep you guys posted.

Stay Irie smile

Zack
